Handbuilding Summer Camp (Ages 5+)

Let your child explore the art of ceramics in this fun, hands-on summer camp! Campers will learn the basics of handbuilding with clay, using techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building to create their own functional pottery pieces. Throughout the week, students will design and make a variety of projects, including animal portraits, planters, leaf plates, bird feeders and garden stones!

No experience is necessary—just bring creativity and a willingness to get a little messy! Our instructors will guide students step-by-step while encouraging imagination and personal style.

All materials and tools are provided. Once the pieces are fired, students are invited to return at a later time, whenever it’s convenient, to paint and glaze their creations before their final kiln firing.
